
A woman, 25, was apprehended in Chihuahua, México, for allegedly assaulting her partner with a belt during an altercation over sexual activity, authorities said.
The Hidalgo del Parral Municipal Police received a call about domestic violence in the Villas del Tecnológico area. The police arrived at the residence to find the victim, a 26-year-old male, Martín Octavio, who was injured.
According to Alerta Vigilante México, the suspect, Sara Michelle, beat the victim, Martín Octavio, with a belt, also insulting the victim. The altercation reportedly started because the victim refused to have sexual intercourse.
The assault reportedly took place in the presence of the victim’s daughter.
The victim called the emergency services, who arrived on the scene. Sara Michelle was reportedly very agitated when the police arrived.
The victim, Martín Octavio, reportedly told the police he was injured on the arms and back, and Sara Michelle also insulted him repeatedly, searching the victim’s phone without the victim’s permission.
The police apprehended Sara Michelle on the spot, then handed her over to the appropriate authorities for legal action.
